1941: So... ?

So... ?
Very uncommon wild American Woodcock (aka Bogsucker) in its natural habitat at Magee Marsh Wildlife Area, Oak Harbor, Ohio. Getting a photograph of these critters while they are in their natural setting is very difficult. As you can see here, their coloration allows them to blend almost perfectly. Also, they tend to feed at night and are rarely out during the day. Usually, they are encountered as they fly away when flushed. A neat bird!
