Crow Teaser on a Dreary Day

A flock of Crows noisily signalled the late afternoon arrival of this huge Red-tailed Hawk to my backyard. A tangle of branches in the tree-top gave it some protection and kept the Crows at a safe distance. Once the Hawk settled-in, the Crows quickly became bored and departed. He perched for about 20 minutes and when the coast was clear, he moved along, as well.

Beautiful bird... Welcome Visitor!
