Fog rising at the start of the great melt down.
Over the past 10 days we have experienced a high daytime temperature variation of zero-59F. Several snow and freezing rain storms produced 10 inches of snow and roads and sidewalks caked with ice. It was almost impossible to get around. On Saturday, the snow and ice melted and is gone.
Today, it's back to winter normal: cloudy grey sky, blustery wind, temps in the mid 20sF, more snow in the air... in a month the sap will start to rise in the Maple trees.
